Academy Awards

Haven't had the oportunity to watch Precious, but I really admired Mo'Nique's speech when she won the Oscar as the Actress in a supporting role in Precious. I just think she was so brave when she said infront of all that people: "First, I would like to thank the Academy for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics". A very valuable woman indeed.
But I think performance didn't work with the Best Actress in a leading role award, Sandra Bullock. And I don't hate the girl. I really like Bullock, but I rather have seen Meryl Streep wining that prize. Don't know, but Hollywood is about politics, fame and beauty. It's too insane just to realize that there are terrible wars out there, in some points of the earth, while in the other side of the globe, in the instigator country, people is getting honored and praised by their beauty and fame.
Politics, crazy people's mentalities, good performance. We live in a very diverse world. Diverse opinions. Diverse life perspectives. And that's the beauty of life. God's manifold wisdom in spite a crazy world. God's manifold wisdom brighting in a crazy world.
Crazy and manifold world indeed.
